Responsible disposal

Pocket it.
Then trash it.

Thanks for caring. Each peel-away layer gives the next person a fresh, clean lip surface. When you're done, here's the cleanest way to keep nature tidy and stay present.

How to toss it

Easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. 01

    Peel & enjoy

Peel a fresh layer for each person. Same ritual, fresh surface.

  2. 02

    Pocket it

Used peels go in your pocket, your tin, or a SeshSure Pouch — not on the ground. You never miss a beat of the session.

  3. 03

Trash it on your way out

When you pass a bin, everything goes in the trash — peels and the finished cone. Make sure every piece makes it in.

Do
  • Pocket it, then trash it. Keep peels in a pocket, tin, or SeshSure Pouch and empty it into a bin on your way out.
  • Put the cone out fully before it goes in the bin. Peels and roach together, one trip.
  • Clip a pouch to keys, a belt loop, or your bag if you have one, so it's always with you.
Don't
  • Don't drop peels on the ground or in storm drains.
  • Don't flush. This product isn't designed for water systems.
  • Don't put peels in the recycling. They contaminate the stream and get pulled out anyway.

Heads-up

These peels aren't accepted in home recycling. Please don't litter or flush.

Why it isn't recyclable (for now)

Small is the hurdle.

We're working toward a recyclable solution. Today's biggest hurdle is size: the peels are small, light pieces that most curbside sorting systems can't capture — they slip through screens, jam equipment, or end up in the wrong stream. Until recycling programs can reliably handle items this small, or we establish a specialised pathway, household trash is the right bin.

Lip-kind design

The surface that touches your lips is food-contact-compliant, nothing is printed on it, and it releases clean with no residue. Documentation to licensed buyers on request.

Less where it counts

Each layer is as thin as it can be and still peel clean. Four layers, one cone, nothing extra in the pack.

Paper underneath

Peel the last layer and what is left is an ordinary paper pre-roll cone — the same natural brown or white paper as the rest of our line.

Always improving

We test alternative layer materials and collection options as they become credible, and we will update this page when the answer changes. Clean production off-cuts are sorted and recycled where the facility allows.

For brands

Put it on the pack.

Most litter is a missing instruction. Every branded Social Cone™ order can carry the disposal line and a QR code to this page on the tube, the tin, or the insert, at no extra charge.

Peels go in the trash, not the ground.

The One-Piece Promise

Leave it better than you found it.

If you're enjoying one outdoors, pick up one stray piece of litter on your way out. Tiny actions add up — thanks for being that person.
